TonyWardGuitar.co.uk Beginner Tony teaches all ages; apparently, the youngest he ever helped was 6 months old!  There is no upper age limit either; you are never too old to learn something new. Tony has helped several grandparent beginners who want to pick out a few tunes, or strum simple chords to amuse their grandchildren. In the first session, you will be taught how the guitar is normally tuned, how to set up the guitar for easy playing, the techniques you need and how to get the sounds you want. Also, you will be taught how to read “tab” and chord boxes (easy to understand music for the guitar) How long does it take to learn to play is a common question. There is no simple answer. You will quickly learn to play  few things, and how quickly you become really competent, is all down to how often you practice!
