Here are some common questions I get asked from time to time. How long is a piece of string? It depends largely upon how often and for how long you practice. If you want to progress more quickly, then obviously you will have to practice regularly. Generally, a regular practice routine, each practice session of a length you are happy is better than irregular 5 hour sessions! (Typically, a practice routine might be one hour per day, but really, its what ever suits you and what your lifestyle allows). What Styles do you teach? I am happy to teach any style you wish from classical to heavy metal; I teach Rock, Blues, Pop, Jazz, Folk or any other style you would like to learn; instrument-wise I teach 5-string, 6-string, 7-string, 12-string and bass too! I can teach you basic playing for fun or coach you for grade exams if you wish. If you have any specific questions, 'phone me on 01934 743793 and we can discuss it. Am I too old / young to learn? There's no such thing as too old or too young to learn to play the guitar. I have students of all ages ... if you want to learn to play, you will! :o) What guitar should I buy? Why not call me and then come along for your first lesson; we can have a chat about what you want to learn and discuss the most appropriate guitar for your needs. If you have any other questions you would like answered about guitar tuition please feel free to call me.
